How I got Here...

Once upon a time, during the pursuit of my BFA, I bought a now hilariously antiquated book called Teach Yourself HTML. It was nearly 1,100 pages, weighed as much as a toddler and was possibly the least stimulating thing I've ever read (though, in hindsight, the PMBOK 6th Edition might give it a run for its money).

Over the course of two weekends, I read it cover to cover and then hand-coded my first website. Tables. CSS. Image rollovers. Slices. All of the state-of-the-art goodies the HTML 4.0 era had to offer. It got deployed. My friends were surprised (or more reasonably, baffled) that I actually managed to get the thing online.

That experience taught me three things:

  • First, I was definitely not destined for a career in software engineering, but I did appreciate the fundamentals.

  • Second, I discovered that I love learning and understanding how things work, how systems fit together and how they can work better.

  • Third, I really love getting $h!t done.

That mindset has shaped every role I've taken since: whether it's building production workflows, leading creative operations, scaling retail programs or untangling complicated processes, I've made a career out of learning how to make things, making things happen and making things happen better.

Today, I'm a hybrid Creative Operations Leader and Production Director who thrives where creative ambition meets operational reality. I enjoy bringing structure to bold creative visions so creative teams can focus on creating their best work while the work itself gets delivered efficiently, thoughtfully and at scale.

Originally from NYC and now based in Seattle, I'm open to hybrid, remote and travel opportunities, as well as contract and freelance work. While I'll always prioritize doing great work with great people, opportunities involving 360° campaigns, experiential marketing, retail environments and research and design/prototyping move to the front of the line.

In my free time, I can be found tackling the never-ending to-do list around the house, hanging with my perpetually outstanding family, strumming a guitar or herding my two rambunctious, but adorable tuxedo cats.
